1 pm comp

South Elgin IL (exact address to follow or check our webpage for map)

No cash charge but, there is an option rock donation (bring a rock for the course) "thumbsup"

Having driven the course before I can tell you that it not your average backyard course. There is a waterfall, ponds, a couple 6' near verticle climbs that look almost impossible, and an obsticle known only as "the log".

No points on the line just come and have fun.

Cool, I'll have to see if that's Customer Appreciation Weekend/"10th" Anniversary or the weekend we're going back to Branson....

If not on either, I'll be there with Mud Thrashers for the WK"thumbsup"

the address is:
96 South Collins South Elgin IL. 60177

We are going to run this comp just a little different than other... Think championship playoff "thumbsup"

Dont forget, its this weekend. Temps are supposed to be mid to upper 50's. Prolly the last decent outdoor comp weekend.

Dont forget your 1 rock entry fee "thumbsup"

Are you guys just going to be playing around or is this a serious comp? If you guys are just playing around me and my friend might want to come out with our MRC's if you allow them their...., i can bring probably 1 ton of rocks....

No Losi's allowed....lol Come on out, its going to be a comp, dont know that I would call it serious though. After the comp there will be allot of sitting around talking, bashing, beating up Zach and generally having a good time. Heck if enough of those little things (MRC's) show up, maybe we will run a class.

FYI, The MUD PIT has been extended!!! (too bad my mud truck is dead)

Alright cool ill try and make it out. Do you have any more pictures of the place?

WHich one the PTI or the new one?

PTI... the new 1 is soooo far from being ready. Im thinking about running different axles and everything. And When I had the new chassis cut I forgot to add a shock mount so I have to get some 3" shocks.

If any one is working on a mud truck ,I just started today I am going to try making the mud pit a little longer if not still have the one from last time , also have shovles so any one wants to make improvements fell free dig in. also I am going to make sloppy joes . bring chips soda or what ever. See ya sat.

C-10 blew the transfer case last Sunday. I ordered metal guts I hope they come in time. Berg still has that wheel stripped issue I'm going to go for a temp fix. Mud truck is still in pieces working on getting it back together. I should be ready to go Saturday."thumbsup"

If not I'll just bring my secret weapon.

I stole the axles out of my 1.9 for my mud truck. Still have allot of work to do but I have Friday off so Im crossing my fingers I will get it done."thumbsup"

After seeing Ben's carnage I think I'll stick to a cheap brushed motor with my WK trans and leave that big ..s brushless on the shelf.

Almost forgot... Im bringing my Nacho chilli dip, Ill try to not make it too spicey

If anyone from the south needs a ride or wants to carpool let me know. Ill be leaving my house about 10:30-11 as it takes a little over an hr to get there. If you want to save gas you can park at my place and ride up.

Just got done making the mud pit longer and deeper so get ready for a longer pit also patched some of the areas on the crawler area and concreted in some exter rocks in the vally area should be a good run .

Well, Looks like I'm out. For a while. We found out yesterday that my little girl needs surgery on her eyes or she could go blind. For some reason her brain is not sending signals to them to work together. The crappy part is that our insurance said they won't cover it. Either way it's getting done. I just gotta come up with 25 grand plus. The last thing I need to do now is waste gas to go have fun with other things way more important.
I really wanted to go to Bob's too to see what his course looks like. Oh well. There will always be next year or the year after.
