Brushed ESC for 4s?

Are there any brushed only ESC's out there that will handle 4s? I'm running a 55T motor in a pede/tlt crawler and 3s is too slow. I'm running a 12t pinion now (with 3s) and like the low speed torque. I have tried a 15T and like the high speed better than the 12T but it's still not fast enough. I even tired a 18T. The 18 was probably fast enough but it didn't have enough low speed torque. What to do? What to do?

Holmes Hobbies BR-xl is the way to go for high voltage hands down.

We run dual BR-xl's in a XR comp rig on 4s, with 13t pinions, massive wheel speed but all the low end creep you want as well "thumbsup"

6s  I'm not sure the poor little Lathe motor would handle that. Might turn it into a mushroom cloud. It would be fun to try though. I do have 2 3s packs and a Y harness.

I think I'd try a good 35T motor.

You can use the old green Mamba Max ESC and cut the white wire off. It says up to 3s but plenty of people run it on 4s.

The O.G. Castle Sidewinder if you roll back the firmware you can run 4s! I wouldn't recommend it for long though but would be fun for extra punch. On my 11 pound KOH tuber I am running a BRXL on 4s with a 10T puller...tons of torque!!! I might want to gear up a bit and see if I can turn it into a rock racer...

I would swap to a faster motor before investing in a different ESC and new batteries. A 35t will be a significant bump in speed.

Well see the thing is I kinda let the magic smoke out of my last ESC. So I need a new ESC anyway.

Well in that case you have some options...BR-Xl would probably be on the top of my list followed by a MMP if you want something a little more versatile.
