Brushless 1/8 Scale Buggy

Happy dance happy dance, my Losi 8ight came in and it is in fantastic condition. Now I have to wait to play until I get in my motor, motor mount and pinion.

I shall have to tow it behind my revo and go VROOOM VROOOM.

More pictures!

Hyperion 5S 20C battery came in, deans installed, charged up and tests run.

I think it made a little bit of a difference, don't you? ;) Now I have to make a proper battery tray and a box for the programmer. The truck jettisoning both wasn't a good idea. :D

The lesson of today is proper batteries make for a stupidly fast truck. Around 3/4 throttle, the front tires were so big I couldn't keep it straight anymore. If it were warmer, I'm sure I would have ripped them right off the wheels.

Little sneak peek of the Mamba Monster Max?!

Included a fan and an internal BEC, 6S (so you know it'll run 8S) and 5mm plugs.

so what happens when the a main is longer than 10 min, or when the batery runs down. nitro you just fill and go but if u had to replace a battery thats a little tougher. im guessing the in 15 or 20 min mains what happens when you dont have full power.

My rig will run 25 minutes on a pack, so I guess I would just finish the race, wait for the foggers to refuel, hope they don't flame out, and then wait for them to finish.

The future is electric!

Never.

Well it's not a conversion but I figured I'd post up some pics of my Gorilla Maxx. I'm waiting for my RPM arms to come in before I run it. I'm going to take the Aluminum arms off and sell them. Trying to shave some weight off this thing...

If you are looking to do a conversion RC-Monster.com has several conversion kits for buggies and truggies that you can get for a pretty good price. If you don't like the vehicles that they have kits for you can always make your own too.

Here is my brushless rig
