can a brushless motor get water in it??? I have heard no, but i cant get an answer in the waterproofing section. I know a sidewinder will die in water but I am getting a castle 5700 motor as well. Any ideas??? thanks!!!:!:

A brushless motor works fine under water. You do need to be careful of the contaminants though, sand and silt will ruin the motor. Bag up the ESC, radio, and battery and you are good.

So a little rain or snow wont harm a BL motor .. ??
Can the Traxxas VXL-3s ESC handle rain or snow ?

nice thanks for the help. Hopefully that motor get here soon. I ordered it from you last week and it should have shipped today. I want to make a big snow jump for my slash.
