BumpyRoad's Twin Hammer build

Hi guys, what’s up?
I made some small mods on the Twin Hammers since the last run: I trimmed the rear of the cage and I also cut the number panels: when the buggy is upside down, those pointy panels are subject to scratching and bending.
I ran the Hammers in quite a bit of rain and mud without any issues to the electronics, even after a thorough hose down.

Its looking good now, can you help me with more info on your castle motor please? Is it the 1410 3800kv or 1406?

I have decided to go with the sidewinder sw4 esc, they claim it is pretty smooth for a sensorless esc, just need the right motor now.

Hi Yeti.stealth, I have the 1406. It is sensored and waterproof.
If you have a sensor less ESC wouldn’t it be cheaper to get a sensor less motor?

Yes, probably! But I’m trying to keep some of the costs down, Ebay has some mighty cheap waterproof sensored ‘ china’ motors too. Maybe I will go hobbywing, who knows....

Actually, I’m still on the fence about what to get, but it’s gotta be waterproof! And it’s gotta be short enough to fit with the scorched parts front end.

Thanks for the info about your motor, I figured it was a 1406 after looking at the castle site and the colours of the different motors.
