I built it out of Brass stock...I wanted it to look like a real 1:1 style that you would see on a FJ on the trail....Thanks for comments

I'm planning somthing very similar... I laid TLT axles under a Bruiser frame, but don't have much tire clearance. Did narrowing your wheels make that much difference?

Wow, that is pretty sweet! I hope to get something along that line going myself. Where do you guys get the leafs and shackles and such? I cannot source any of that stuff locally.
 
The pinion is a losi 13 tooth..It mates to a stock traxxas spur gear....
