Bushmaster closing up shop!?

When you look at the sales aspect now is a good time to sell. ARs are going like hotcakes even lower end rifles like the newer Bushmasters. Everyone is going batshit crazy buying up everything. Try to order a lower or stock up pmags. "Sold Out" is what you will find.

Cerberus is an investment company and they are always moving their investments around. Cerberus used to have a large holding in Chrysler as well.

Bushmaster isn't going anywhere, just who owns it. Think the only reason this is happening is so that Cerberus will appease the Calli teachers union who pension they manage and so they don't get dragged into the whole gun ban debate.

One of the companies I worked for in the past was owned by Cerberus.
We were purchased, capitol was cut, and other changes were made to lean out the company and show some profit.
Then we were sold, when Cerberus purchased Chyrsler from the German (Daimler) ownership.
They are in to making money and flipping companies. Doesn't mean the companies will close.
I left the company, because I was told there was a high probability I could be laid off. I do know the company is still working, just not as much as when I Was there.
I don't think the fact that it was one of their guns was used in a crime had anything to do with the sale.

Getting in to a buiness that could get hammered by HUGE gov't regulations is a huge risk..
