after a week with the ridgecrest:
i had to upgrade the steering servo and change from the 20t to a 55t so i could crawl
too much flex in the drag links... wishy washy in the front and no torque when you are in a bind so i changed the steering linkage to Alum
reduced the bounce by upgrading the springs to SOFT and increasing the oil to 50w
if you are considering buying it to crawl.. plan on 100-200 more dollars (but that is the hobby right?)
we also have an ax10 (novak, alum links, beadlocks... etc) a losi night crawler (if you would want ONE crawler.. buy this one) and a 1:16 losi mini comp pro
my son and i just finished stage 1 of our backyard crawl with a suspension bridge and multiple lines to crawl (room for 5 crawlers and room to spare) and none of our crawlers turn tight enough without some modifications... FYI
