I've been working on mine but the project is sorta stalled as of now... too many other things going on.
I'd like to see some build instructions - unfortunately I'm not wired to be an engineer, just not my forte. Though the build is pretty self explanetory, using the pics featured on this post. Right now it's just sitting in its bin, not a biggee as our cold-n-snowy winters don't make for ideal outdoor running conditions... Though I discovered a skate park that's underneath a freeway overpass. That should be fun!
I'm trying to figure out the best way to mount the ESC and receiver. Any thoughts from anybody would be greatly appreciated!

would a 6900kv cc motor be to much for this chassis to keep the wheels planted?

Doc. Have you figured out your steering setup yet? I've got mine all built just not sure on how to get the steering linkage all set up as there wasn't an obvious mounting point for the bell crank and such.

i love this idea. is there any chance of a 4wd version? or would that be too difficult/not practical for this type of application? I like the idea of a durable bashable option for my stampede 4x4... as mentioned in the beginning of this thread, lexan bodies don't last very long, and I suck @ painting!

I've not yet got that figured out... unfortunatly this build is on the back burner right now, my wife says just one at a time :evil: So I'm building the Wraith kit she gave me for Christmas! Then I'll be concentrating on my Tundra build the "Tuna Fish Casserole" I'm set to resume this though when Don gets the instructions posted up. I've got all the pieces in place to finish...
I'll post up when I get back to this...
