I fully agree, every person is entitled to their opinion and the right to voice it.

I just find it a little hypocritical that some one can request people to change their avatar to something a bit more PG. Then an hour later post a reply in a thread where guys are showing off photos of their partners where some of the ladies have as much or sometimes less clothing on than some of the Avatars in question.

Well let me start by saying I didn't expect this to get this much attention. Once it was pointed out that I could turn off the avatars, I was good. Didn't know that was an option, and if I had known, obviously I wouldn't have said anything.

My situation is that my son and I work on our trucks a lot. For those of you with kids, its a great way to do something together. Well, for all the years I have been on this forum, it was never an issue because I was the only one reading them. Well now, he does a lot of the work on the truck, and he likes to look at the build threads (Honchos and Micros). Well, for a while, he would look at them with me, and I could sort of preview things, or scroll over a thread with something I didn't want him to see.

When it comes to the internet, we still make our kids ask for permission before going to any website. The older ones can surf just fine on their own, and he will be in the office and ask me "can I go on the truck site", which means this one. He has NO interest in chit chat, so I don't worry about it. I just felt that while it used to be there was an occasional avatar that was a bit racy, it is becoming more prevalent. As far as I'm concerned, my problem is solved by shutting them off. Done deal. I can let him look where he wants and not worry about it.

And yes, when its just me, I look at whatever I want. I like a nice ass as much as the next guy. But in my defense, my comment wasn't on someone's wife, it was just a spot at Silver Lake that I've been to for the past 20 years.
