Can't stand my wife and the girlfriend pisses me off!

To make a short story long I left my wife just over a year ago with just my Murano full of cloths and RC's. Since that time it has been a fight to get my stuff back and once having to call the police. Since that time everything I own has been sold or thrown away by my wife. I have tried to settle this out of court but it just isn't going to happen. I had shacked up with my current girlfriend who is awesome but I can't seem to handle or want the responsibility of her three kids.

Am I the only douche bag on this forum or can others relate?

Thanks, just to clear it up I don't have any kids with my wife or my girlfriend. The whole wife thing is a very long story though. I just seemed to jump into something I wasn't ready for with the girlfriend.

I divorced a little over 2 years ago, and actually had a girlfriend a few months after the ex said "GET OUT" (nothing happened before & was married for 13 years). It went O.K., but I always had my own house. We dated for about a year and then it fell apart, but we both could walk away. I dated a few more women and finally met my current girlfriend. She does live with me now, and we are getting ready to close on a house (hopefully the 16th of this month). Im glad that nothing more serious has happened before now. It gave me a chance to get my poop in a group ($hit together), and see what direction I needed to go in. I agree with the "you need to get your own place", if you like your current girlfriend, but her kids get on your nerves (but remember they won't go away)you can always go home. Easier said than done, I know, but take care of yourself and everything else will fall into place (even if you don't see it happening). Don't go from one bad situation and jump into another.
