carpet racers?

also, check with whatever track you are running at what traction compunds they do and don't allow. some tracks are picky about that because certain "sauces" (jack the gripper is guilty of doing this...) will deteriorate the carpet faster than others, and a lot of places just don't have the budget to replace ozite every season....;-)

We run Jack the gripper only. It smells very little compared to the others out there. Also, I have never had any problems with Jack breaking down the carpet. Frank (CRC) said there was no problems he had heard about Jack. He did say that its not the "best" sauce, but he said it was the least stinky.

I have known what we call Jack the "s"lipper to be VERY safe for the carpet but not the highest of traction. Many tracks allow it only because of the low impact on the carpet.

This is gonna be a club track so not as much traffic as a hobby shop track, maybe a couple days a week. I have only used the ripper since that is what the LHS requires.

we ordered 12 of em for the club!;-) I can't wait to get mine BL BABY!

Hey Dez, how did you guys get the skate place to let you race oval's on their floor?

Owner is a racer!

And it helps to generate revenue for his business. Sign up fee, video games for the kids, and full snack snack proceeds all go to him!"thumbsup"

Floor is slicker than hell, but it's a blast!

My 18T when hooked up runs in the 7.30s.

Kris and I ran a few of our cars on the sealed concrete floor in the warehouse we are setting up the club track, WHOOO HOOO Kris has a T4 brushless powered and it was more like a drift track, very cool though once you get the hang of it.

I'm really enjoying the oval racing. First laps at speed in almost 12 years!

The owner is installing a banked 1/18 and 1/10 scale oval this Spring!"thumbsup"
