I just received a Field Link today and found out it isn't compatible with my Holmes Hobbies BLE ESC.

This has probably been discussed before but I haven't seen it.

I just wanted to post this for others who were considering this combo.

The PC based connection works fine with Holmes ESCs.

I was hoping for an easy way to adjust the drag brake or switch motors when out crawling.

It is just as non compatible with the Castle esc then , to fully adjust all the esc's the field link won't work. Startup , timing.... Good news is once you get it set, no need to go back.

That doesn't make sense. It is compatible with Castle ESCs.

I'm aware that it doesn't support all of the functions that the PC based Castle Link software does.

I think the if I remember correctly, you can use the field link to connect to your PCs and then you have total control over the settings on the BLE but yeah, the markings on the card won't be correct if just using the card.
