I thought the hobby shop was going to set me up with the 2850Kv Combo.
But they installed the 2280Kv Combo instead. ???
They know a lot more about a brushless set up then I do !!!
My truck is very heavy at 10lb. with the body & battery. ~ So I am trusting there judgment.
Well when I get a 3s battery I will gain a little more speed then with the 2s I am using now.
It took me eating 50 hard boiled eggs in a row to boost my brain power enough to figure that one out. ~ LOL

No, The esc has to be programed throw a computers usb port,
With a Castle Link USB Programming Chip.
To customize how you want your truck to preform.
The hobby shop did it for me on there computer.
Will it work right out of the box as is.
What I read on here you can but it's best to program it.
That's all I know about it,
