Cat's Unimog 2.0

Got the Unimog ready to rock n roll! The new shocks are awesome! The new internal wheels from LURC fit great and went together like butter. Will need to make a gearing change to account for the portals but all runs smooth. Only complaint for the KYX axles is that the universal axles aren’t very smooth at lock. May need to invest into some axial ones. Also installed some TEAL axle weights, fit was pretty good for some cheap amazon parts. Just a bit of clearancing was needed at the from steer mounts on the knuckle. Plenty of weight down low now.

Looks Great!
Do those KYX axles come complete or do you use scx10iii internals?

Axles came complete and the internals are quite nice from what I saw. I did put incision universals up front to replace the stock ones and note that the bearings are not sealed.

Nice smooth units out of the box. Much cheaper than assembling your own SCXIII axles from parts.
