CC BEC -> Spektrum SR300 bind slot?

Okay, I just put 4WS on my AX10. I have a Spektrum DX3S radio with an SR300 3-ch receiver. The radio glitches out when the steering is under load, I can see the receiver LED fade out, so I assume my two (Hitec HS 645MG) servos are sucking the receiver dry of power. Right now the receiver is powered by a Duratrax Intellispeed ESC.

So, I guess I need a separate BEC. I hear the CC BEC is good. Opinions? Is there an ESC with a BEC beefy enough to run two servos and a receiver?

Also, can I safely attach the BEC to the bind slot on the receiver to power it? With two servos it's the only open slot now.

CC BEC is what most of us run. "thumbsup"

Yes, it will work in any of the slots. I would look into wiring them directly into the servos though. "thumbsup"

When plugging the BEC into the bind/battery slot, you will have to pull the orange wire from the harness. It may trip the bind function.

Also, use the castle link and up the voltage to the rx a little bit, to 5.9 volts. "thumbsup"

Got a CC-BEC, problem solved. (It's a new one so there's no problems with activating the bind function.) Thanks everyone for the advise. :)
