CFLCC Meet Thread - *ONGOING*

Ok... Here is the million dollar question. Who has a couple 100 thousand to invest. I would DEFINITELY be into helping get one started. Or even an indoor Crawler Scaler area that peoplecould come to and change freely. Nothing set in concrete....just a lot of material and obstacles to move and play with. In the AC and out of the rain. Just ranting here.... Wish i was rich. We would all be running the best of the best equipment.

Dear Santa......
I don't ask for much but if you could I would like a few million dollars in any denomination. So I could help the needy local Scalers and maybe even those other guys....comp crawlers. Or just bring me a Red Rider BB Gun.

Those......spiders.......don't look too friendly.

I would have shit myself if they were on me. More power to Josh for staying strong.

Do we any good local hobby hobby shops that keep crawler stuff in stock.

Not around here.

that what we should do, open a shop

I've been saying this for a while! I'd totally help run it. Could easily get our website and domain up along with an online store for next to nothing.

I don't think it would cost several hundred thousand.

We'd be looking at $1,000/mo. for rent on a decent space, $20,000 in inventory or so (start out small) and then whatever equipment we needed to run the place.

My brother invests in small businesses for a living and does really well at it. I just don't know that he'd invest in this.

I am definitely coming out some time this month, I'm just waiting for a few parts to come in and waterproof my truck then I'm ready to roll with you guys.

AsILayDying, lets talk about parts. :lmao:

you guys I have been doing this for alittle over 20 years of R/C and aleast 5 in crawlers/scalers... There are NO NO NO hobby shop's in florida that do crawler or scale part to the degree you can get them online the probelm is that florida groups are so spread out that most shops focas on the back yard bash guys and racers offroad/onroad if they have a track near by. they dont see the point in spending the money on the parts to just site on the shelf and wait for that one small group to come in and by stuff that go's for the same thing when it come's to any part of this hobby if they get more back yard monster truck smash and crash guys then that is what they focas on...

that is why I have tryed to support my local hobby shop and build a track/course and help the florida crew the best I can and keep as much as they will order in stock.. lol
