Alrighty then as a new season is in the works I had these nifty axles laying around figured I'd try this whole bodyless thing out and see what the hype was all about. So I hit up Mr. Krawlfreak and got a Secret agent 3.5 on the way along with some new CF ultra light wheels. And of course hit up linkmaster Shane Szczerba for some agent berg links. And shipped klabeaume at KLDesigns some peanuts and parts and poof we got axles in the works.....on to the specs and pics.

Axles = Kldesigns custom machining,cf servo mount,cf gear covers, cf knuckle weight kit with our own washer cut and machined by the master himself. Rear axle consists of dlux tubes axlemaster rears.

Motors = Custom cut 35t Holmes Super hybrids by me....lol

Esc's = Mamba micro Pro's, Castle creations BEC(Dont really know why anyone uses a BEC anyways:roll:

Radio = 4pk with the Hurley Setup

Servo = Hitec 7950

Wheels And Tires = Red Boss Claws trimmed and Sanded, and Y-town CF Wheels

Foams = Crawler innovations closed cells with soft front and medium rears

thanks Oz still got a long ways to go and a short time to get there, we start our season next month. Had to order a chassis and get this party started was running out of time. I have also built up a Secret agent XR10 as well. I wanna get them close to the same setups to do a side by side and squash this whole berg/xr battle i got going on in my head....lol

Thanks racer, those are stock scx shocks I will start playing with some internal limiters when I get it as a roller. Or I might cut the top down some time will tell.....

Internal limiter sounds good, i run at the moment 12 mm internally on my rear shocks.

You will be closer to the low 5.0 lb mark since mine is very similar to yours and I have been running some SLW's lately that put me right around 4lbs 8oz. I didnt drill out my front tubes either, just turned them down to 14mm.

It's looking good, keep up the quality work! I like seeing more berg SA's out there, it just goes to show there is nothing stopping someone from putting any combination of parts together to make something work!
