Change of Plans!

I hate building shocks, not the pistons, or the oil, or the O rings... Those stupid little E clips that drop onto the floor and disappear in plain sight!

Axial provided just enough it seems as I dropped one and bent another...

Surprised I haven't seen more of these built on here.

I'm with you on Eclips. They should be banished.

Same, I am surprised at the lack of base camp kit builds as well.
And, isn't there a way to have something a little bigger than the tiny E-clips they include at least?

Any way onto bag F. It is monstrous, including a billion screws and a boatload of small plastic parts... it was too late for me to start last night.

Nice build! I agree, get kit for the price, I am excited to see where this goes, thanks for sharing."thumbsup"

Thank you, it is fairly straight forward, though I wish they would have broke bag F into smaller bags. It is the chassis bag, including all of the screws for the chassis and all the connecting pieces. I stopped last night after I realized, I need to pull the trans and swap some links around. I worked on bag F for 2.5-3 hours last night watching YouTube while I plugged away at the chassis.

And finished for tonight...

I don't know how I like this chassis. I need to build the battery trays yet and don't know if I am going to move the electronics and body over... The build was not too bad, I don't like how they recommend how to assemble the chassis portion of the kit. The shocks feel too long to me... I tossed a power hobbies 379 tg servo in it and need to find some wheels and tires...

Love that body. That’s what’s going on my next build, whenever that happens.

Thanks.

I think I am going to do a throw back paint job to the 1970 F100 I did when I was fairly new to all this...

Oh and I found these in my stash... forgot I had them...
