Chaotic xr10 build

Are u running a 20A bec so u can programm the limits up on 7980 ?
Nice wiring job .
I`m going see what I can do with electonics on the Rowdy Racing motor mounted plate .

no its just the standard castle 10amp bec with it set at 7.4 volts to get the most out of the 7980. i may switch to a 7950 just because of size but when i bought this rig it came with the 7980 so i figured i would give it a go. i just finished up all wiring and programming the esc's and radio tonight. harley's 4pk thread in the electronics is a real lifesaver when it comes to programming. i plan on heading out tomorrow for some drive time. i cut up an old hardline body just to give me some panels for now

Lookin' solid Rich. Nice Job!"thumbsup"

One suggestion though, move the steering tie-rod to below the vanquish knuckle arm. The way you have it now will cause stress on the servo.

Have fun tomorrow, sorry I can't make it.

Lookin sexy Rich....and yer rig aint half bad either. Im stoked to see another Chaotic rig in the West Coast club.

Stick with the 7980. Im runnin a 7990 at 7.4 and it comes in handy when you're jammed up and wanna walk yer pooper over to break yer rig free.

Get some wheel time in. Jan 7th is fast approaching.

J.D.

Its funny...I seem to remember SOMEBODY making a comment about all of the VP swag I was rocking during my RCP PROGRESS build. Something like "I think there's a some VP screws you forgot to buy". Sound familiar there DUBSPIN?

Got to practice with Rich and this rig today and I can tell you it WORKS. Right out of the box his setup was very close. With his limited wheel time and FIRST time out with this rig he kept up with all of us at practice. A little shock and foam tuning and it could be a top contender. "thumbsup"

J.D. is skerd now cause Rich has more VP bling than him. :ror: Better get back online and order a few more parts buddy. :lmao:

Ill see you BOTH on the 7th with a real car. :flipoff:
