Charger help

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot. I'm just getting back into the hobby and need a charger. I'm getting start with Nimh batts until I learn a little more on lipo but will definitely up grade to them. I was kinda looking at getting a dynamite prophet duo sport. Is it ok or junk what's a few good recommendations. Thank you

A good, inexpensive charger is any of the Accucell chargers from Hobbyking, or the SkyRC IMAX charger that the Accucell is a clone of. It's all the charger that most people will need, and it's very inexpensive.

X2, but define inexpensive to you, would help us recommend chargers. Hitec X2 AC Plus is great charger, sells for about $99 everywhere.

I went throu several chargers.
Basically you need following functions for lipo's: Charge Balance storage Charge.
At the end i landed at a skyrc d100 V2 round 100$.
Dual Charge buildin Bluetooth Module to Check Charing with your mobile.
I think the hitec x2 ist a OEM of IT.

Just checked out the hitec fast cause I'm at work looks nice. Dose it do two bats at once. I didn't get a chance to read about it. Just a quick glance. Thank you

Yes, the Hitec does two batteries concurrently and runs off AC or DC. The Black Edition is smaller and a little nicer, quieter fan and cooler in operation too. Bought mine at LHS $109. The standard version is great and does not run hot or super noisy, but I like the Black edition even better because quieter and smaller.

I went with the Turnigy Reaktor 200W 20A for around 60 bucks. That + a 13 dollar power supply off amazon and it has served me quite well. Here are some links if youre interested.

this is 5$ more than I said but you can get em off banggood for next to nothing. I liked that it was adjustible, it puts out 19.99volts for me.

The Hitec chargers are rebranded SkyRC chargers. The X2 Plus is the same as the SkyRC D1000 which doesn't seem to be available anymore. The newer D1000 V2 is available which is Hitec's X2 Plus Black Edition.
