Charlie sheen...

Did you really just say that its more important for Charlie Sheen to properly entertain you than it is for him to not beat his wife?
Im not saying its ok for him to beat his wife and I never would. To me it's like if that's the way he was raised or if that's just how he is who are we to judge him. I'm sure there are plenty of women out there especially down south around where I live that get hit by their husbands. It's obviously not right and I would never condone it but there's nothing I can do about it so let it be. The guys a great actor and we shouldn't try to ruin his career because of his home life. What if someone wanted to fire you from your job because you play with rc trucks. Same concept. Just on a different level. If Charlie sheen wasn't famous ou never would have heard anything about it.
If Bronco could afford cocaine he'd be Charlie Sheen.

I wish I was Charlie sheen. Hes makin bank and he doesn't have to stand over a printing press 12 hours a night.

On another note, yes I know my grammar isn't the best. I may have skipped some days while I was stil in highschool but I graduated so clearly I was good enough to pass. Even if my grammar is not up to Par with some of the colle grad geniuses on here. I try to get it right and I have seen way worse on here. At Least the words I use are in the English dictionary unlike some others who just make up there own.

Being a great actor does not mean he is free from anyone scrutinizing his personal life. Going around hitting people is not the mark of a great man.

Beating women and playing with toy trucks is not even in the same ballpark. One of them is not even a moral issue.

Would you feel the same way about him if he diddled little kids? He is a great actor after all...

It's not in the ballpark but it's the same concept. What if someone wanted to fire you from your job because you beat your wife (not saying you do). If it was me I would tell them to F off and stay out of my personal life. Way to make things wierd and even brings kids into the topic. That's a completely different thing. Child molestation is for one an actual crime and two is only committed by freaks who deserve to loose there job and be locked up forever. You went from one extreme to a totally different extreme. There's no doubt that him beating his wife was a bad thing what I'm saying is that because he's famouse the press got ahold of it and are now trying to ruin the guy. He commited no actual legal crimes. He did commit some moral crimes but that's nothing we can change. So why make a big deal over it. The guy is a talented actor and should be viewed as such. I knew this would be a very controversial topic. In my opinion. If your good at something like acting then be a good actor. I will watch our movies whether your gay, lesbian, if you beat your wife, if your a complete moron. They are still good actors and I will continue to watch his programs because I don't care about his personal life. so why do so many of you care about his personal life

Ok your right there. Totally forgot about that but look at the amount of time you serve for each crime is way different and with kids you will be labeled. Dumbass! Why do people have to get so serius. Really gotta call somone a dumbass to express yourself. I call you the dumbass cause you couldn't think of a more intellectual word to use.

In all honesty.....after reading your comments, I'm more concerned about your personal life. You've got some very, very warped views.

I'm not calling you a dumbass to "express myself", I'm calling you a dumbass because you are defending someone based on their acting abilities.

I don't care what you do as a career or how good you are doing it, if you beat your wife you're a douchebag and not worth my attention.

Sometimes the simple words are the best words. No need to get all fancy if there is no reason to.

Driving RC trucks is an illegal activity?

I have a friend who never went to college...his internal quest for knowledge is still not flat. He could easily use words most college geniuses here or anywhere would be lost with.

Schooling does not equal genius, learning does. There is a difference between going to school and learning in school. Those who learn can learn without teaching if they try.

Sounds like a cop out to excuse yourself for not wanting to make yourself a better person. This will help you out in life, but if you like where you are in life, skip learning.

I see what your saying and there's nothing wrong with that. It really just depends on the person. Like u said If someone's a douchbag then they are not worth your attention. If that works for you, great. For me if I see that someone has talent then I don't care what goes on in your personal life.

Then you, dear boy, are fawked up in the head, and its thinking like that that has made our society so twisted.

How is that. It's common curtesy. You don't ask about peoples personal life. As a child weren't you raised not to ask certain question to people about their personal life. You don't see me going around asking everyone on the forum if they beat their wife's and kids. It's none of my business. How has that made our society twisted. If people did mind their own business more out society would be 100x better

I'll agree that the media doesn't need to stick their nose is e every single aspect of a celebrities life. But, you do know that he beats his wife. What you're saying here is it's ok that he beats his wife, even if you personally wouldn't, because he's a great actor.

Am I going around poking my nose in other peoples business? No. If somehow it is made public knowledge that they are privately doing something illegal or highly immoral, will it change my personal views about that person? Absolutely.

It is twisted because you are putting what they do for you (entertaining) above what they do to other people. You are saying that you don't care that he beats his wife because he makes you laugh and that is all that is important.

I'm not saying that at all I'm saying that because I as an individual cannot do anything about it there is no point worrying about it. It's a terrible thing that he beat his wife even though he was probly drunk at the time. I'm not condoning it but I'm not gona stop watching the guys shows and movies because of it.

As I Said above I'm not saying its ok because he's funny. It's not ok at all. I'm saying I'm not going to stop watching his shows and movies because of it.

So you will continue to support him, even knowing that he does morally questionable things?

No matter how you try to spin it, you are putting your entertainment above his wifes physical and mental well being.
