Chassis test needed/>?

{geerickeyimsorry} I have four testers now. I think that will cover most types of builds as they will be similar in many ways. I will be selling the chassis in the future after we see how well the testers review them. I'm welcoming preorders for the frames if you are interested.

(GENERAL INFO) The test frames are all made by hand and will not be as nice as the machined ones will be. I am cutting them with a jig saw and other simple tools so the edges will not be all that nice, but it will work for testing.
I just purchased a drill press so my next braces will be centered better. I found it difficult to get my hand drill dead center. so I found a drill press on sale and the future bores will be aligned better. (sorry destroyer they are a little off but still good to go and I didn't use thread lock, just in case you needed/wanted to take it apart)

Got mine tonight as well. Looks very nice, especially for being hand made. I will be getting some mock-up pics in a few minutes.

Microgoat and Tuffguy your chassis' will be at your front door soon. I wasn't able to get everything done till this morning so they be your way soon. I will ship them Priority or something so it won't take a week like the ground shipping did to destroyer.

ManiacMagoo: It's nice to know there is someone close buy (didn't know you were in WA) when my rig is done we will have to meet up for a crawl.

Thanks again for testing guys.

Here are some pics of the chassis.

Some quick mock-up pics. Trying to decide whether to run 2.2 or super class with this truck.

12.5" wb 2.2:

16.5" wb Super class:

I'm leaning towards Super class at this point...the chassis seems a bit big to make a comp legal 2.2 with, but you never know.

Looks good Double J! Now let's see if Destroyer can "destroy" it!

If there is a weak spot, I will find it. I plan to thrash it on the rocks at Buford Dam. I can almost guarantee it won't be the chassis that breaks- it's very sturdy.

Oh, and the chassis weighs in at 10.7 oz.;-)

I just got my emaxx tranny mounted and put a 55t lathe in to see how it looked. I have this sick little voice in my head saying that I should go with a high power brushless setup that will still be able to crawl and see what havock I can wreak,

Break it if you can. I want all of the week spots found, so I can address them.

I don't know what the other chassis' weigh in at but I think 10.7 oz sounds fairly light.

Can't wait to see what you all do.

will you guys post the build in their respective threads.

No fair I say, it was bad enough having to hear about the guys getting theirs first.
But then they had to go and post pics of "theirs".
That is just not fair and I am telling my mommy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looking good Double J, can't wait to get mine and start building.
