Cheap sensored motor

Have anyone use any of these motors?
looking for 1 for a wraith.

I'd be looking for a 13.5t motor, a 10.5t is going to be very fast for a wraith.

I run a Tacon 1/10th motor in my 1/16th mini and have nothing but good things to say about it. A buddy of mine is running a Hobbywing in his Pede and it's stupid fast. For the price, both brands a really good deals. However, these are both sensorless.

What is the intended use for your Wraith? What ESC do you plan to pair it with? All of those are too fast to do any decent crawling with.

I personally would avoid any brushless motor that has cooling holes in the can that will let dirt and debris in. Odds are good that if you tape the holes up, the motor will overheat. Your better off with a properly built motor that is sealed.

Sounds like you should put up a wanted thread looking for a Novak crawler 18.5. Should be able to score one for about $50. Or you can get a Remanufactured one from Novak's site for $65.

I was asking about general experience with those motor since they are cheap or less expensive as some people call them.
not exactly the version in reference on the link to the Kv rating.
The lowest kv rating those brand have are the following
Scanner 13.5 - 3100Kv
HobbyKing X-Car 13.5 - 2600Kv
Tacon dont go below 3500Kv
XK3650-3050KV
HobbyWing XERUN 13.5T - 2700KV

Quite a few of the guys I race with (along with myself) use Tacon motors. They've all been great and no issues that I know of. It'd be nice to see some more sensored options with higher winds.

I like Speed Passions myself. I've got the Crawler Master, a 30.5 and 17.5 Ultra Sportsman v2, and they've got them on sale now for $43. I think its free shipping in the US too.

Their warranty and customer service might not be the best in the business, but it would be in this lot.

I've tried the X-Car 13.5 and I overheated it quickly in a touring car by advancing the timing too far on the back of the can. It still works for me, but I leave it on low timing now.

I have 2 Xeruns, but in 5.5 and 4.5 turns, and I've never had a problem with them.

I've got a Tacon in a Tamtech GT01, the 2848 4300kv model and it works good too.
I've had no experience with the sensored Tacons (they're never in stock anyway) or any 540 size Tacons or the other Hobbyking motors mentioned.
The Bullistorm motor that you posted seem to be hit or miss, but really cheap.

What ESC are you planning on using?

I have one of the tacons and it works fine.. I would not hesitate to buy another..

I have a Tacon, I think is 2950 KV and it works fine... Not real great for crawling but is the bomb for bashing.
