Hello. I was just wondering what is the cheapest brushless motor anyone has ever seen for anything. I need a test motor for the driver Im building so it doesnt have to be big enough to do anything "useful" or to have very good performance either. It just needs to spin.

The cheapest one I've found was a $22 GWS 2215-12 Outrunner at Holmes Hobbies. But surely, there is a smaller cheaper motor since that one is big enough for a 2.2? I cant seem to find any though.

THanks.

Thats pretty much the bottom of the barrel on price unless you want to order from china- but the shipping makes up for the difference and you dont gain anything.

Tear one out of an old hard drive or CD player. Not much torque but they are brushless and they are free.

Oddly enough I dont think I have any lol. But they run on 6V or so don't they? The switching converter I'm using requires at least 10V to run (and it feeds off the motor power supply so...)
