Check in for Jacksonville Florida

Glad to see some crawlers in jax area. I built a clodbuster a few years ago, and am putting finishing touches on my wraith kit. Trying to find good spot in southside area, Hana park seems like that would be a great spot for trail runners.

Do u consider Hana park southside?? Well if u live on the southside me and u r pretty close.

As mentioned before palm valley bridge in pv is a pretty good spot. I kno a great spot near fernandina I go to almost every weekend. The bridge across from heugenknot park is a pretty good spot. More for comp crawler tho.

Where on the southside are you?

have you tried going out to ft clinch state park in fernandina , thats where I go alot there are sand hills and some rocks down by the camping area

I live over in the Bartrum area and usually go trailing here

The trails are nice and the terrain changes from grass/gravel/dirt/sand and marsh so there’s a little bit of everything. I’m new to scaling so who knows if this place blows but I have a good time every weekend. I usually go on Saturday afternoons and spend a few hours crawling over logs and there are a few places off of the trail that have 45 degree embankments that are pretty cool to crawl up.
RC Outlet has a signup sheet for a “Crawling/Scaler” club but I have yet to hear about any events. If anyone would like to check this place out or meet up shoot me a PM. I have a few other friends that are starting to get into Scaling so we can get a nice group together.

Heres another spot I have found. Great bash spot as well as the other side of this dirt mound has a mountain type of look to it/ The dirt was brought in from the man made pond across the street. The dirt mound has overgrown weeds and seems that there is also some concrete mixed into the dirt which formed the mountain like look. Good crevasses and hill climb for your F OFF rig.

That bartram spot is super close to where I go to school at. If I can figure out these links and get my electronics finished and waterproofed. I'll email you when I finish, what days can you run?

We mainly run on the weekends since we all work Monday-Friday. Id like to find a spot with some natural rocks and not just concrete bolders.

Found another spot off of Old St Augustine road.

The area has a trail from the main road to the natural spring, Many fallen trees to crawl over and terrain changes. There is a creek that goes anywhere from 2 feet wide up to over 10 feet with flowing water from a spring. The water in the creek ranges from 2-6 inches till you get up tp the spring itself then its too deep for a rig to crawl thru.

I have video Ill post on YouTube then ill link it.

I am in Jacksonville as well. I have a MRC but it's modded up so pretty capable. I am usually down to crawl most days if I have nothing going on. I go up to Big Talbot super early on the weekends for sunrise shots (Do photography), so I hit the bridge after hug-a-nut beach on the way home.

If anyone wants to get together shoot me a PM and I will send you my info. Or maybe we can pick a spot and setup a meet for a Saturday morning some where soon.

I am off Atlantic and St Johns area of town.
