I had the chance to stop out in chief logan state park the other day for about 45 minutes and happened to find a decent place to play around. Hang a right at the lodge / big building and then when you see the base of the dam there is a nice uphill rocky spillway. Lots of leaves there now but once leaves are outta there it will be great. my 1.9 yota scx dig good. Plenty of challenge for a 2.2 based rig also."thumbsup"

Enough parking/room for a get together?

large parking lot there at the end of the road...might have to walk a little to where he's talking about. I'm pretty sure there are some paths/creekbeds as well.

Plenty of room for parking but yeah definitely a little walk. Lots of playgrounds for kids too. Im game for whatever if I can slip away for a day. I did see several good looking creeks and some walking trails too so I'm sure therenis fun to be had.

I'm from SC, and I happen to have family from right around there. I have been to chief logan for family reunions. I bet there is a lot of good places in there to crawl around.

I'm down for it. We should be unpacked and situated by then. I should be caught up on motors and such by then too. I just sent Nathan and Drew texts about it.
