Chip's 1976 Jimmy

Hell of a find! Those things are a dime a dozen here in AZ, lucky to find a good clean AZ Jimmy in Florida though. "thumbsup"

Plans for a full interior cage and sliders or gonna leave it alone for now?

you looking for a picture of a k5 with a 4" and 35's? i may have one of mine that way. it's an 84 though.

I have a friend with some 47' LTB that he will sale but it will a 3K to my price. The truck has 5 new 300 miles or less 38.5X14.50X16 I will let go with the truck.

The ones for the 203/205 DBLR and the D300 are nice!

If you go 203/205 dbler make sure it supported good. Other wise you will crack transmissions. Ric and his nephew found out the hard way few times with both their K5's.

This a sad day. Your going to start stripping it down to frame and body huh ? First Carlos is selling his rig and now you ?

SAD!!

Ric, I talked to JB Conversion they Disco'ed there 205 T case and 3:1 kit for the 205 T case. So it is either an Atlas, Stak, or a 203/205 DBLER. Do you know anyone making gears with more reduction then the factory 1.98 gears for the Chevy 205 ?

man i've been out of the 1:1 loop for so long that i don't know of any. so no one has the lomax gears anymore? damn shame.

Mine is on a 4 inch BDS lift with 315/75/16 (34.6's) Got any pictures of his ?[/QUOTE]

Yeah, got a couple of pics from the latest bog, but none of up close. I guess his is a 79' Jimmy not a 76. it also has a removable Top, to make it convertable, compleatly stock, he says they are hard to find with the removable top.

For some reason I thought Ford was the only one with the floor switch. :???: I guess I was wrong. I loved having that thing, you felt like you were doing something when putting on the high beams!

Right on!

The '79 GMC pick up that I learned to drive in had a floor switch for the high's as well...I always thought it was the coolest part of the truck
