Christmas / What was your first real RC?

My first was a Tamiya Monster Beetle from what I gathered it shares alot with the Blackfoot and Grasshopper.I do still have it.

and now i own one again...

My first RC was a Traxxas Hawk. I got to watch my dad put it together. Still have it though, broken chassis and all.

my very first hobby grade rc was a ta rc10gt rtr. still have it but now its electric powered

My first rc was a sand scorcher i got in the mid 1970's at a little hobby shop called river junction in beaver pa. from Sam and John P's dad and were still good friends today.

My 1st RC was 2 Blackfoots my moms BF bought for me right after the man that owned them won 1st in oval & off-road class on money night at a little track in Dover PA. Good times!

Edit: ok, ok that 2 RC's but those 2 were my 1st

First rc was a Grasshopper and it was a blast till my friends mom ran it over lol

first hobbygrade RC was a Tamiya TT-01, next up was a traxxas stampede.

my first RC however was a tyco fireball or something like that, I drove it till the rear tires were slicks, way to much fun, out of all my past RC's I want this one back the most.

My first real RC was a Golden Arrow. For what it was and the times it was pretty cool.

Same here I was 12 or 13 when i got it!

Mine was the Tamiya Lunch Box. My younger brother had gotten the Tamiya Blackfoot for Christmas,and I got my Lunch Box with my Birthday money the following March. 20 years later He told me he stopped by a Hobby shop and picked up a Savage. I stopped by and found what they were calling RC Rock Crawlers. That was several thousand dollars ago!:mrgreen:

I got a summer job a few years ago and decided at the end of the summer I would use the money I saved up to by a rc. It was between a slash 2wd and a wheely king. I decided on the wheely king and the crawler conversion kit. My parents were pissed I spent all my money on some stupid toy they said ill spend all my money fixing it when it breaks. I assured them that it's a hobby grade rc so it won't break. Then proceeded in breaking 3 dog bones with in 15 min of telling them that.
