How long have they been closed, there is nothing in the Vender Section mentioning there now closed, I tried to go to there website and got the Yelp page saying it is permanent closed, and there Domain Name is available, so there is another RC/Hobby store to die in Reno Nevada, there been a few that closed or went out of business and not sold to some one else, I have been in Nevada since 1999, now it looks like I will have to buy online only now, there is nothing for miles around me, living in the Carson Valley in Nevada, it's a 75 mile round trip for me to go to Reno/Sparks Nevada, so I didn't go into the store that often, and the last time I was there, business was slow and there was very few people using the Short Course track and the Rock Crawler area, and they had the minimum of stock or RC's, so maybe it was sign they were going out

Seems like profit margins are not at sustainable levels and competetion is increasing with more and more manufacturers jumping into the crawler market.

It looked like too me, they were more into Short Course and running the 2 tracks and crawler area to pay the bills, then selling crawlers and accessories, cause they didn't have much in stock or on display, and heard them say they could order what ever and normally takes a couple days, I can do the same myself, that's the reason they kinda sucked, I used to look online and then go to the RC/Hobby store too see what was hot and selling and to look at stuff, I seen online before pulling the trigger on something and see what other people are using and ask them questions about what they like, while they were bashing there RC's on the tracks or cruising the Crawler area

The last time I was there they had "walls" of parts separated by car, it was real nice.
There were tons of factory replacement parts, Vanquish, etc. etc.

I only got to go in there a couple times, but when I did, they had tons of stuff. That was a couple years ago though. I hated to see them close.

My first crawler (Losi Mini Rock Crawler) was purchased from there. It was supposed to be brand new, but it was flopping around in the box because all the zip ties were cut. I contacted them and they acted like I was crazy. Shady guys and I never bought from them again. But I think CKRC changed ownership at least one time, right?

Yes they had 2 or 3 different owners and had a store on Wells Ave and later on moved to Mills Street
