Class One Tundra by VMGontheRocks

Looking great! You're so close!

Thanks!

I am! The interior is going to be a little less than desired but oh well. Inner fender templates and shoe horn in the interior is on tap for tonight.

I should probably glue on my fender flares at some point as well..

Start of the interior:

Gluing on fenders:

And shit, the shoe goo ate the paint and seeped out. I was really pissed about this. This will be my last time using glue on fenders.

Couple pics of the assembled cab:

And then more disaster struck. The fenders apparently didn't bond too well to the paint it ate... One kind of fell off and then I pulled the other ones off. I cleaned off the fenders and cleaned up the area they bond to.

And after a lot of monkeying around, at 3 something in the morning, got this all together:

Time to pack, make inner fenders at my parents, and do some final assembly!

The rig looked awesome and did really well! Nice to meet you in person.

Thanks! It worked really well! Quite pleased with it. I have a few minor tweaks here and there to get it really dialed in and then it will be exactly where I want it.

Was nice meeting you in person as well! Can't wait to see your trucks all finished up!

Couple photos from our WARCRC comp on Sunday. Managed to get 1st place!

Thanks for the photos Justin, you rock!

Also got a stick stuck on the second course:

Maybe it is time to put the taillights in...

Was moving my transfer case from one table to another and said to myself this feels awfully heavy. Decided to open it up and weigh the one piece robinson output:

It's a heavy sucker.

Justin was nice enough to hook me up with one of the robinson output gears (non one piece) and I had an extra set of hardened Axial output shafts.

Much better!

Also, got the puller motor mounted up:

Starting at 56T/11T (32 pitch gears) and seeing how that works.

Another shot to show off the awesome parts!

With my gearing and the smaller motor, there is a decent amount of the motor plate sitting below the motor.

Area marked with a silver sharpie.

Now it's time to take it apart and break out the dremel.

Could you talk more about the top shaft modifications to put this together?

Doing the same setup (kinda), and the stock top shaft is very long.

in the tcase, i'll do the pinion shaft like you did, this is for the upper. I want to drill it to use the axial driveshaft pins

There it was in post 15. What did you do for the spacer on the other side? My deadbolt came with a really long spacer that is not it.

Just the stock transmission spacer and the plastic slipper delete. I think it's from older models. I'd have to go look at an exploded view to get the part number.

Had this truck on my work bench last night. Just a minor change under the hood:

Let's see if anyone can spot the change:

Different servo winch? Can't be brushless as he's still running an fxr. And he uses mini brxl for the winch controller.
