Class "Three" Err I mean Two Tundra by VMGontheRocks

Nice looking rig!

Thanks!

Here's a bunch of pictures from the last two comps. Thanks Justin for the photos!
Lost both bedsides and have been running it like that since.

Mt. Erie Comp:

Got third place, no room for errors and I made one hitting a downhill as I tumbled.

Entiat Fire Look Out Comp:

Managed to pull a first place!

Thanks! Justin takes killer pics :ror:

It is pretty awesome the turn out we get at most of our comps. The NW has a very healthy scale scene.

Broke a link at the last comp, thought it was the rod end at first, but the actual threaded portion of the link broke. Looks like it will be time to bend up some new ones.

Also a little freshen up with a new front bumper. Thanks David!

Looks like I need to sand and paint the grill and maybe respray the cab.

Hello there. I am currently in the beginning stages of my own v1 toyzuki build. I am working in the motor mount currently. I am having problems with the topshaft. I ordered axial part ax31149 slipper drive gear shaft. I mounted my lockedup rc slipper eliminator and spur gear up and slid it into the motor mount.

I have read through both of your build threads on your 2 chassis. I see how you modify your shaft but it shows that you only remove about 1/8". I have about 16mm that needs to be removed. I will also need to drill a new hole for the drive shaft pin.

What am I doing wrong ?!?!?
I appreciate any advice that you may have

You want Axial part #AX30197 for the shorter shaft shown in the beginning of the thread or use the shaft included with the Locked Up slipper eliminator.

the locked up slipper eliminator didnt come with a shaft. i ordered it directly from locked up. ill order the other axial shaft. thanks for posting the part number. i have read through this thread many times and never found that number. i also tried to search through the exploded views of the transmissions to find it. all i could find was the shaft i ordered which ended up being too long, so i really appreciate the help

As svt923 said, AX30197 is the part number you want. I didn't realize how many different top shafts there were. I had a bunch of SCX10 transmissions so I just robbed one of those for all the parts.
