I'm new to crawlers & RC's. I've been looking at posts and trucks. Clods look like awesome rigs but they seem to be the more exspensive route. Then there are TXT-1's that require more time but less money. Which is the better crawler?

My experience..... limited....

I'd say the TLT for most bang for the buck. Still takes a good amount of work to make into a kick ass crawler but they are a lot more fun. I take mine to work everyday and crawl on my lunch breaks.

TLT baby ;)

Id say you will spend about the same amount of money to make either a clod or a TXT worthy crawlers.

TXT is more expensive to buy, and you stil have to buy ESC, servos, etc etc

I vote for a clod.

TXT. It might be more expensive initially than a Clod, but there's a ton of mods you can do w/out spending much / any money.

 serious debate time, there is just too many kicka#$ shaftys and clods on this site.................I think it will all come down to what you want, whats available at the time and how much you want to spend. They both kicka#$
