Confirmed Address with PayPal or No?

In the past, I have required a buyer to have a confirmed address with PayPal if they are paying with PayPal. I currently have a deal working with someone that doesn't... I really think the guy is legit (deal from another board) but I'm holding off on shipping the item since I had mentioned to him several times throughout the deal my policy.
He is working on getting his address confirmed, not sure how long it will take - and in the meantime I have found on PayPal's message board that apparently this isn't a requirement for seller protection any longer - maybe.. LOL - I think it depends on who you ask.

What do you folks think? Heard anything about not needing to require this any longer? Do you require it before you will accept PayPal payment?

I like to ship to confirmed addresses. If it isn't I want to see some feedback somewhere. Just ship insured with signature conformation to cover your donkey!:ror:

I don't require a CONFIRMED address, I do agree with Kenny, if the item is worth more than $20.00 I insure it and get the sig conformation.

I know there have to be others like me, who have more than 1 paypal acct. and since you can only use your bank acct for 1 paypal I have 2 that don't have confirmed addresses.
