Hey all, new here would like to know who here would run scale cooper tires if they were available? As would love this my self but need the community’s opinion (and a larger enough support) to be able to contact coopers themselves about licensing there off-road tire range to one of the companies that make rc tires.

If enough support,

- Which rc tire maker? Proline , rc4wd or other

If this does kick of it would be epic!

If I remember correctly there is a scale version of the Cooper ST Maxx out there. I can't remember who makes them however.

RC3WD is already making Goodyear duratracs, My scale needs are met. I do want the 1.9” duratracs to be wider looking, more like a 305, or a 315, but I like your idea of trying to drum up support for more scale tires.

I vote yes for the cooper tires. I don’t know enough about the manufacturers, but I hope you entice one of them.

Yeah looking to at least see if it’s possible to at least get the cooper stt pro’s as a scale tire

Pretty much all of Cooper's offroad tires are available as Mickey Thompson or Dick Cepek tires (since they are all owned by Cooper). If you want STT Pros, the Dick Cepek Extreme Country is essentially the same tire, which RC4WD already makes in 1.9 (and it is an awesome tire).

The Jconcepts Scorpios (which I already have a set of) look like Cooper STT's (not Pro) to me. Although it would get you "cool" points, I guess it really doesn't matter to me if they actually say the same thing as a 1:1 tire on the sidewall. I was looking for Yokohama Geolander MT+'s in a particular size and found at least 3 licensed versions, but the most accurate version was the RC4wd "Trail Rider" which clearly was not a licensed Yokohama. I'm kind of surprised to see people getting excited about licensed scale tires that are second or third tier in the 1:1 world, it's not like scale Goodyear/Interco/BFG/Mickey Thompson/etc cost more than scale Atturo/Fierce/Fuel/Craptacular's.
