Slug Retaining Wheel Rings - Designed by Andy Zuber (CRSMacgyver) and brought to you by Crawl Spec.

Andy has been running his original rings for a year and has had much success with them installed.

The main purpose of the Wheel Ring is to keep your tires from wadding up in holes. These rings also allow one to tune weight via the 18 tight fitting holes made to fit Vanquish Product's Little Harry (1.9) weight slugs. The Inner Diameter of the Rings is 2.5" allowing use on multiple wheel brands.

To install a Wheel Ring, simply cut a 1/2" deep slit down the center of the ID of your foams. The foam holds the ring in place, even with slugs installed. But should you want to hard-mount them to the wheel, two flats are milled into the ring to guide an easy install of set screws.

The slug retaining holes are milled in such a way that allows smooth insertion and then a tight press fit to keep them from moving.

Pricing (includes shipping in the USA):

1 pair - $23
2 pair - $42

Have you thought about making a run of these for 1.9's? I for one love a SUPER soft setup in my scaler for the looks but we all know how well it performs.

Nice job on the set screw slot.

Thanks, and thank You for the suggestion.

I had not thought about it, but doesn't mean I can't or won't. PM me with what you need size wise (ID/OD) and I will see what I can come up with.

These are now IN STOCK!!

The latest batch of delrin I got in looks different than my normal stuff (has a marbled effect going on), but should not have any affect on performance.

PM me for payment info.

Thanks!

Does the center groove in the slw affect how these work compared to a non grooved wheel?

Like allowing ring to get uncentered as its compressed? Any hop induced or such?

Hope that makes sense

I have had no issues like this with my SLW/ring combo. The ring moves around just a bit in the slot on impacts but it does not have any adverse effect that I have found.

Has anyone used these/measured if they will work with DNA assasain wheels? I don't have mine around me and wont for a little while, but would like to order some for when i get home.
