Here’s a look at my vs4 that is about 95% complete. First of all I have to say this rig is absolutely amazing! Everything in my kit went together smoothly without fitting issues.

The electronics I went with was Castle Mamba X with a 1406 2280 kv. For the servo I had to use a Holmes Hobbies SHV500v2.

As others have suggested, I put some O rings in the upper shock mounts to minimize any slop.

I really love how the paint came out. The entire interior along with the top and hood scoop were treated with a flat clear.

As for now, all I can do is sit and stare at it as I am waiting for my Futaba rx to show up in the mail along with the lights from rc-lighthouse.

Great build :) Just completed mine. Really happy with the result. What light kit did you get from rc-lighthouse ?

Congrats Crawler505! Nice looking rig. Paint job turned out really nice. I used the o-rings on my shock tops also. It does seem to help with keeping the shock centered.

I agree with the o rings. Mine are going anywhere now.

I love the color choices. pushing me towards the edge. looks great

Thanks man. I have used the Tamiya PS32 on another build and I think it’s my new favorite color. I really think it looks so good with the black and silver.

Just because I’m a Jeep guy I had to see...

Bumpers shouldn’t be a problem, different ones should line up just fine, but the sliders are a different story. Had to take them off completely. The stock body is much wider than JK body. Going to play around with some ideas and see what I can come up with.
