New season, fresh running gear. My white axle berg went to my wife for the up coming season. She's inheriting one hell of a rig. Oh well, on to the new stuff.
My axles: CCC cases and tubes. Vp chubs and knucks, CCC modded wraith uni's, Ti steering links, double sheer carbon steering arms and for nostalgia, old school berg hexes up front.
Rear: creeper bob 6mm Ti shafts with drilled out shift hubs to accommodate. Last but not least, my signature " illest" decal.

My chassis: Trav hit it out of the park with the dominator chassis. There was no need to search for anything else. I just needed a fresh new one. Only upgrades from the one I'm passing down are: BDN rear brace and aluminum hardware where I could make it work.

Barry had bent the links for my old dominator so I requested he do these as well.

Shocks: Rcbros white shock body's, Rcbros springs, EYD Ti shafts, notch eight preload collars, machined pistons, Traxxas goodies to make them do what they do, caps drilled so the diaphragms work the way they should ( thanks Brian and Jim ) jeepndoug cups, 4mm external rear limiters and 4mm internal limiters front and rear. 60wt oil front and 45wt rear. All of it tied together with red HR hollow balls.

I did not. Erik has done a bulk of my work to say the least. His super lights are one axle I haven't had a chance to drive.

I want to make sure I've covered as much tech on what I've posted before I do too much back tracking. I neglected to mention that the gearboxes have Rcbros gears front and back. I also run a 13t RR pinion F and R. It's easy to forget all that goes into these builds.

On to electronics: as shown in one of my axle pics, I'm running my first 7950. I know this is nothing new! However I scored a deal on 4 7954th servos when I started messing with these and I'm really looking forward to feeling the difference.
Esc's and bec:

Big thanks to Creation Fab for his continued support. He did a killer job with these micro sidewinders and CC bec. Bec is set at 7.7 if I'm not mistaken. I'm well aware that some cats take theirs higher but I like to find some balance between performance and longevity.

I did get a chance to mock up today. I need to stand the rear shocks up a bit but all n all, I'm thrilled. 12.5 from the door. Shocks are mounted with Dlux " shock balls". I really like these things. I'll include a pic of how install them in a few.

For those that don't know, a small Oring, shock cap, second Oring and your screw. Super simple and for the most part, perfect spacing.

Coming along nicely...... Well done! I see a couple minor things but it always ends up a circular path to get everything correct and working together. Keep us updated...... This is looking SWEEEEEAAAAAATTT!

Thank you Barry. So far it's come together easily. Everything is stupid light and feels solid. The rear shocks concern me because I don't want to jack it up you know? So some additional limiting may be needed. Absolutely no complaints thus far dude!

Looks Awesome David! Digging the color scheme and can't wait to see the outcome of the panels...

Without further limiting ur shocks, standing them up, and keeping ur GC the same.. Could you take some pre-load out of ur shock collars?

Super clean great looking rig David, can't wait to see the skins and the finished product. -J

Thanks everyone. The kind words are very much appreciated! Once I get the rear shocks straightened out, it will be on to the power. Notch Eight Designs will be buttoning everything up for this rig on Sunday. Even switching radios to run this rig:)

Generic pic but I didn't feel like popping my guards off. 30t brood vapor type R's that have been screaming " use me" for far too long. I'll have a couple of weeks to adjust to them and the new radio before my first comp of 2015. Then, off to Nats:)

Thank you Cliffton Allexander the 3rd. I've missed you bro. How are you doing? Any sweet discounts at Muslim hotels lately? Hahaha!!!!
