Crazy storm for this area

3 tonight, 9 tomorrow night. Supposed to start raining Wednesday and rain through the following Saturday with temps in the 50's and 60's every day. Go home weather, you're drunk.

Was 24° in troutdale this morning, started snowing/freezing rain at like 10am. When I got off at 11am. People were already driving like morons, and it hadn't even stuck to the roads yet.

It was still nice enough, I wished I had road my CBR to work. I want enough snow to justify driving my truck.

We're getting rain now. Most of the snow is gone, but no flooding yet. Snow level is 7,000 feet right now and rising, so... A couple of hours and we might see some.

we just got power back on "thumbsup" it went out 8 hours ago (a little after 5 this morning) and they hadno information about why or when it was coming back on. luckily we had the generator to keep the fridge going and some of the lights on. It's been really windy with heavy rains pretty steady.

Hope you don't get any flooding. I've had it happen before and it sucks.

Yeah, minor flooding now. Really foggy, too. Doubt it'll get any worse, though, it's pretty cold up in the mountains.

We got 10" of snow today. Tonights gonna be 9* high tomorrow of 27*. Tomorrow night 4*.

This coming Fridays high.....67*.

Welcome to VA....

I lived near Charlottesville back in the mid 80's, I remember it was butt ass cold there in winter and one year it snowed like crazy. Now it seems like we barely get rain here in northern CA...except this year. :ror:

Crazy wind today in CO. They have I-25 shut down to high profile vehicles in Colorado Springs, lots of downed/blown over trees, an tons of power outages. I understand they have a lot of semis that have blown over as well. Highest wind gust I have seen on the news was 90 some odd mph. Telling folks to stay at home. Fort Carson (army base by Co. Springs) was told to stay indoors and not venture out

WE got another curveball tonight. Low was supposed to be 38, but it was 32 and snowing at 6 pm. I had to chain up again tonight to make it up a steep assed hill.

im glad most of Michigan roads a flat.. around me anyway. but the idiots who've lived here forever and still cant drive in the snow, need to go somewhere else. or don't drive.

Get some pamphlets for easy living in Florida, and put 'em on windshields, or whatever...

We get all four in a day, sometimes. o.x Rain in the morning, 50 in the afternoon, spring and fall in the middle somewhere.

Please don't do that. They'll go to Florida, spend one summer and decide it's too hot there. They'll head halfway back (here) and decide the weather's nice here, let's stay! They're yours, you keep 'em.

That's sounds like one to me. Rain and 50 is just a regular spring day. We had 10" of snow and -2 temps over the weekend and have swung to 60 and rain today. Weather patterns are not what they used to be that's for sure.

Traveling from eastern WA to salem OR in a semi is such a joy these days. Odot hasn't got half a club what they are doing anymore. 1" of snow? Better chain up just to be sure! There is slush in places? Hell yea, better throw iron on just in case! Fawking idiotards.

ODOT hasn't had a glass half full since 1970. 90% of the decisions they make are the wrong decisions, regardless, and they don't care. They have this wood based crap they spray on the roads as a deicer, but it doesn't work below 28*, yet they spray it when it's in the teens and make the roads more icy. >_<

I spent 25 years in Charlottesville, the last winter I was there (2009) we lost power for a week.

Now I'm in Montana, 9" of snow in an afternoon just makes the drive home a little longer :lmao:
