Creamer in your coffee

I guess it is only fair for me to describe how I drink my coffee. I make a 12 cup pot each morning and put it in one of those pump thermos' for the shop. I add a little less then 1/2 cup of sugar to the 12 cup pot for just a tick of sweetness because I like STRONG coffee.

If I make it a cup at a time, 8 ounces of coffee and 1 tablespoon sugar.

Black, but if it is harsh (like Bob Evans) I'll splash a little cream in, just enough to kill the bite.

Folgers black silk + coffee mate french vanilla or peppermint creamer (only sold around christmas time)= YUMMY!

20oz. travel mug- 3 tespoons sugar, coffee to within 3/4-1 inch from the top, Irish Cream or Southern Butter Pecan creamer (liquid) 'til I think it's about full enough that I'll spill if I put anymore in. (No accurate measurements are available at that time of the day, sorry.)
For coffee, I like Hills Bros. Perfect Balance, but I also sometimes try other light roasts or 'breakfast blends'.

The fiancee' actually got me onto the butter pecan stuff. She likes it a lot, but tries to ease up on her sugar/carb intake. She's tried the powders, but doesn't really like them, so just goes with Splenda and half & half. Then she usually jacks me for one of two things, "You just get that 'cause you know I can't have it, don't you?" (well, no, but....) or "..... what, couldn't fit anymore in there?" If I get both of those in one morning, I know to short fill the mug a little, as that one's going to be 'to-go', and in a hurry too.

I'm super spoiled at work. We have those Starbucks iCup machines or w/e they are called. They make a cup at a time and have two hoppers on them; one with decaf, and the other is regular. Takes about 60 seconds to get a fresh cup. I usually drink 4-5 a day. And as stated earlier, just black. Like it strong.

1oz so I do not get reflux from the coffee and to add a little extra flavor.

Might as well buy the cheap stuff if you are using that creamer. Half the reason Blue Mtn is so expensive is because of how smooth it is (as in easy on the reflux). Or try any of the Central American coffees, they are smoother than South American, African and Indonesian coffees.

12oz travel cup, 1 packet of pink sweetener, 1-2 tbs of dry Great Value creamer.
I just started a fresh ground kick and bought a cheap B&D grinder. So we have Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon and Hazelnut, which is currently my favorite. Too much creamer ruins the taste.

I like hazel nut in my coffee. It would have Nut in it :lmao: I like the Irish Cream to Cream lol

Keurig coffee maker for me. Its fast and easy. Some of the Donut Shop coffees are pretty good. Lately I've been hooked on a good Kona.

After our third Keurig crapped out on us in less then a year, we switched back to the 12 cup coffee maker we have had for years. I think it was only about $25.00 but it makes the same cup of coffee day after day without the headache the Keurig did.

I gotta tell you.
Im not one of those Fru Fru coffe drinkers. Meaning I dont drink coffee at any place I have to order it custom (Grande double double half calf extra skinney) lol

When I lived in Illinois I was a Extra Large Double cream Double sugar Dunkin donuts coffee. For as many years as I can remeber. As a matter a fact I ould not stand energy drinks and hate the tase of Monster.

I then moved to Montana where they do not have any dunkin donuts. The first 3 weeks were hell for me. You dont know what its like to go cold turkey from the D'nD and then have to try every coffee joint around to find they are all the same.

Since then I am not addicted and yes you can be adicted to Red Bull. Ice cold in the morning is great. And believe me I have tried that Dunkin Donuts coffee in the stores and the Kurig or whatever its called and its not the same.

Everytime I go back home for a week I am in heaven again. But I love the D'nD coffee. I think the Creamer is Crack.
