Brawler/Destroyer Monster Truck combo?!

Has anybody here run the new Proline Destroyer tires on their trucks, especially with the new 17.5mm offset Crusher rim?

I've ordered the 17.5mm rims for my Grave Robber bodied Wheely King, and will order the rims a bit later.

I have the destroyers on my axial based racer and they are awesome Ive ran them on hard packed clay and carpet and they are by far the best tire ive ran. I haven't got my new wheels yet but have them on order

Thanks Gooba! I'm still waiting on the rims (don't want to order tires until I make sure they'll clear the WK parts), but they should finish off the look of my truck nicely"thumbsup"

Especially once I paint up a new Robber body for it and maybe add rear steer too8)

If you get the ones with the built-in offset you should be ok

That's badass!

I'm debating about shooting the next with flat black inside and out then shooting the "chrome" with some sort of silver on the outside.............then maybe clearing it with Semi-Gloss Clear lacquer to further protect the paint.

Damnit, the more I look at that, the more I want to leave the Maxx rubber on the WK and buy a AX10 Deadbolt and make a second solid axle monster out of it!

I'm planni g on using Summit tails in the skull and headlights on that, as well as red strip LED's in the roof to light up the windows and chassis.

I'm going to be dragging these home tonight and mounting them up tomorrow, also ordered a set of brake rotors and calipers for the Vaterra V100 to make fake pinion brakes out of for the truck, then will hang onto the other set for once I can get my mits on a AX10 Deadbolt.

Got them assembled and mounted up as well as one of the V100 rotor and caliper assemblies mounted on the servo, they look freaking awesome!!!!!

Of course, now I need to add rear steer and a second phoney pinion brake, and a fresh body:ror::roll:

Tell me about it, I had Tuesday off and will have Friday off, but neither will be good for testing it to see if that low profile Savox servo will work with those tires.......then, I can add rear steer and "pinion brake" now that the second Hot Racing Servo Mount came in:twisted:
