this is the second try at doing this to set of tires. the one question is. if I end up putting a backing piece of rubber on the inside of the tire. will it flex like it should or will be gluing it with the rubberised ca glue be enuf.
trying more of a tall fatter comp tire than scale. so do you think running this kind of tread would be better for a comp rig or would something else work better.

any and all suggestions are welcome.

Nice work! Is that BC tread?

BTW, I have found that using gap filling CA glue on the inside of the seam will hold the tire just fine. "thumbsup"

the other tire is off one of my 4's size tire for a truggy. had them sitting around for some time and never used them

these are the ones I'm using for the tread.

so the black tire glue that is at the lhs is what I'm using to fill the gaps so hopefully it's the same as what your saying. the glue is really thick. the ca that I'm tacking the tire is the real fine ca glue. it's like water, but it tackes the tire really fast so it makes it easer to work the tire. so hopfully I'm doing it the right way.

another thing. you think it would hurt the flex to much of the tire if I put a backing in side of the tire, just to be safe. was wanting to make sure these don't come apart.
