Cutting Aluminum

Was doing a tile job and discovered that a wet saw with a diamond blade, will cut aluminum with no harm to the blade. Easy way to do nice strait cuts.

You can use a regular carbide tipped blade also , but it does get hot, but the blade will last pretty damn long, I use my table saw to cut down 4x8 sheets of 14 gauge, and cut 1x1 stock with the same blade for years.
 
You can also use a cabide tipped dado blade as a budget milling machine! I've been doing it for years, make jig to keep your hand well clear of the blade. Gloves, long sleeves, and saftey glasses are strongly suggested!
