I've cut it on a table saw before. It works like any hard wood. Just make sure you do complete, quick cuts. If the blade sits running against it, it will melt and stick to the blade. Try a little WD-40 as a cutting oil.
That's my prefered method. I also use a horizontal band saw to cut round rod. One thing is for certian though.....it freakin' smells like you just cut a skunk in half.:lol:haha....
it depends on the blade you have for the radial arm saw. a fine tooth blade will work the best. You should try a scrap pc first. I have cut 4x8 sheets of delrin w a circular saw to get the sheet into workable sizes.I have the 1/2 in stuff and wanting to cut some skids. Will a radial arm saw work or do I need a slow band saw? Thanks for the help. "thumbsup"
Has anyone ever used a mini rotozip type cutting bit on a mini rotary tool. I would think that would get the job done for cutting intricate shapes. I hope to cut some delrin chassis plates like that pretty soon.
