I built a scaler with one a cpl yrs ago.I believe it was around 12" wb and about 7-1/2" wide.

I think It's much closer to 9"wb. I still have one in the box at home. I'll get you an exact number after I get home.

You are correct, wheel base is very close to 12". I measured the width at 6 1/2".
Hope this helps. The body is a weird scale.

yeah, its nearly exactly 1/12 scale.
