Hope that all you denver peeps are safe.
I'm sure you have heard about the mass shooting at the movie theater.
12 confirmed dead and 38 injured.

Just wanted to post up and make sure no one here got shot or killed.
Hope everyone here was not effected.

Absolutely tragic. Thoughts and prayers to all affected....hopefully that doesn't include any of our fellow RCC brethren...

Remember to talk to your children.

Teach them right from wrong.

Talk with other parents too, especially when you see their kids doing bad things.

Prayers to everyone.

To think, me and my daughter go to the movies all the time.

So what's the story? Do they have the dude in custody?

Hey kronik, my phone took a sh*t, text me at 422-5366

Yeah. I guess he finished his rampage and walked out. He was arrested shortly after without further incident.

The news has been brodcasting about it all day.
Sad to see....

I'll hit you up tonight.

I've been thinking about this all day. I remember when Columbine was being broadcast live on the radio and TV, and this just brings back a lot of dreadful memories.

My best wishes go out to the victims and their families...I know nothing I say here can make a difference to them, but they are all in my thoughts.

Sometimes doing just "that" helps.
Just taking the time to think about what happened. Having those effected in your thoughts. It may not seem like it but every bit of support helps.

There is a post going around Facebook trying to get enough attention to "The Real Batman" trying to get him to come see the kids at the hospital that got shot today.

But what about the ptsd? That could be a mistake bringing batman in.

It's more to show the kids that the bad guy didn't win.
Maybe lift their spirits to have someone they see as a hero show up to see them.

I see your point.
However, the kids need something to help them see that not everyone is a psycho kinda thing.
Maybe batman is not the best idea, I dont know. I just think those kids need something to show them that the "bad guy" was caught and can't hurt them again.

Batman is still a hero to those kids.

Are you sure about that? If a gunman set off tear gas and starting shooting at a movie you had been anticipating for months could you honestly think or watch that character without thinking about the gunman? I'm sure many of those people will never watch Batman again.

True story.
I have never watched a batman movie, but if ever do I would probably think about what happened...

Didn't really think about it that way.

I don't think anyone will watch this movie without thinking about this loser, and that's exactly what he wants. Remember the victims, and not the idiot.

They were saying that he is in solitary confinement, and that he won't talk about a motive. I say release him from solitary, and put him in with the general population and see how long it is before he talks.

Hell yeah I agree completely. Put him in general population, tell his cell block he shot a bunch of kids in a batman movie and see what happens

He wouldn't last long enough to talk....

There's a family right next door to me that smokes pot , talks about gang banging and tells their single digit and teenage kids to stfu ...all in the garage, at all hours of the day and night. There are no family values or parental standards anymore. When my grand kids come over, I tried to ask them to watch their language...they told me to f-off and the father wanted to kick my a$$...wish he'd have swung at me.

Has anyone heard anything from this punk's parents???
