1/10 = 1/10th the size of the real thing (every inch in the 1/10 version is the same as 10 inches in the full size)
1/14 = 1/14th the size of the real thing (every inch in the 1/14 version is the same as 14 inches in the full size)
So, if you have something that is 140 inches long, in 1/10th scale it would be 14" long, but in 1/14th scale it would be 10" long.
The difference depends on what vehicle it's based off. Also keep in mind that the "scale" sizes that toy companies use are nominal, and most 1/10th scale bodies are really 1/12th, and 1/14th bodies are usually 1/16 or so.
