I haven't read anything about this on here, including the stickies, so I'll ask.

I recently did some painting on a hard body and wound up with a very defined, feel-able line from the edge of the masking tape. Anyone have a good tip as to how to diminish or at least blend such a line?

In the 1:1 world they clear coat over stripes and graphics, I don't know how well that would work in 1/10 scale though.

Yep in the real world they use clear coat, but even then you see edges of decals and different paints.

BTW you posted this thread twice from what I can tell so I deleted the other one. PM me if I missed something.

Intercoat clear between layers and colors helps prevent lifting when taping also helps to level.... you can clear , but your going to have the ridge left. That’s what misting is all about

Same as others have said but with the clear you then would want to wet sand it smooth just like 1:1.

Cool, thanks! I may get the chance to try those with this next project, it's hard body too. "thumbsup"

Oops...figured that would happen sooner or later! Thanks for sanitizing. :)
