Discuss ... VP candidate to drop out

Palin, McCain and Obama are all tools! That the real mechanics who control what happens in America use to fu!k up this once great country and drive it into the ground.

The blue collar citizens and the true blue patriots of this country are what makes it great, along with the freedom provided by our brave soldiers.

Our government blows donkey dic! and does nothing but use it's citizens for it's own selfish desires along with destroying our image and relationships with every other country out there. We are owned by China and our government is selling America to the highest bidder, take a number and get a piece of the action.

We the people are not controlling our government, they are controlling us, they keep chipping away at our rights and we keep letting them, most of us are to stupid to see the big picture and probably never will.

We have been promised the apple up in the tree for how many presidents now? All we ever get is a worm ridden pile of mush. Promise us this promise us that, blah blah blah, we've heard it all.

I'm gonna go kick my dog now and see if that helps my attitude,.........

nope!

....I agree 110%"thumbsup"

Yikes!! Therein lies the problem. Canada is a sovereign state. Generally , one country doesn't simply say to another that we can just take you over for your oil/gas/gold whatever. One democratic state overthrowing another - might not fly well with the rest of the world.

The argument is always made that the US provides defence for Canada and keeps us safe - I'd like to think that other countires, including the US, would come to the aid of Canada in the unlikely event of hostilities. That's what happens in the rest of the world anyway. That's what happened in WWI and WWII. Remember WWII started when Germany decided to invade Poland - a neighbouring sovereign state..

Canada and the US have a great symbiotic relationship. Here's a few quotes from the US Dept. of State:

"The relationship between the United States and Canada is the closest and most extensive in the world. It is reflected in the staggering volume of bilateral trade--the equivalent of $1.5 billion a day in goods--as well as in people-to-people contact. About 300,000 people cross the shared border every day. "

"The U.S. and Canada enjoy an economic partnership unique in the world. The two nations share the world's largest and most comprehensive trading relationship, which supports millions of jobs in each country. "

"Canada is the single largest foreign supplier of energy to the U.S.--providing 17% of U.S. oil imports and 18% of U.S. natural gas demand"

I'm not here to blow Canada's horn - just to let know of the importance of the close relationship between the two nations.

Here's one more quote from the US. Dept of State:

Canada is a significant source of marijuana and synthetic drugs (methamphetamines, ecstasy) reaching the U.S. . . ." Good ol BC Bud"thumbsup""thumbsup"

Peace out!!

Nice to see something intelligent posted in this thread8)"thumbsup"

I've been noticing this trend more as I age, people have to use the " yeah it was just like on Friends" to relate to something that happened to them or someone they know. Its a sad sign and a scary thought to see human relations degraded to a correlation to a poorly scripted Sitcom or cartoon. And even a good show is no replacement for real life.

that's because real life sucks donkey nutz. "thumbsup"

No need to feel bad for me - I'm way ahead of you (by about 4.5 hours) By the time you read, this my day will be half over. By the time you hit lunch, I'll be chugging my first beer of the weekend - gotta love those time zones :):). Come on weekend!!

Notice that I did throw your fair province a bone - that would be my mention of BC Bud "thumbsup"!
