Dlux custom knuckles V2!

What's the difference between the berg version and the version I'm currently running besides the hub of course?

The Berg version is just for Berg based stub shafts. The only ones I know of are the Berg dog bones and SDS customz super 300's. Your stub shafts are Ofna/Bully/whatever based. Pretty much the same difference from yours to a Wraith stub. Just wouldnt work.

This is not to be confused with axle shafts that are run in Berg cars as there are many versions of those.

As much as you can fit in your wheel. It would depend on how wide your hubs are and if your wheels are narrow enough to fit a steel ring.

Yep. It also depends on if you get the slug option, which will almost double the weight for the delrin. Each version will change in weight too. If you get big bearings, type of stub shaft etc,.

I am looking at these for a scaler...... Will they work with gearhead/cac style wheels, what's the deal with the ofna stubs? Is that for the 2.2/ super comp rigs? I have a few sets of ofna cvd's ..... They are BEEF

I am not sure about those wheels. Do they use a bolt on hub or is the hub built into the wheel? Just about any wheel I know of that uses an SLW or shift type hub will work with these knuckles.

The OFNA stub is a bigger stub shaft that also carries other benefits. Right now we have figured out how to put them in just about any comp crawler and a lot of scalers. They are the ultimate in strength and also allow for massive bearings that I doubt anybody would ever need to replace.

Making these by hand has its drawbacks. One of the drawbacks is mistakes. I have 3 really good mistakes here that I would like to sell.

All 3 sets are OFNA version, 22mm inside, 19mm outside. You cant get bigger bearings than this. These are the grand daddies of them all!

Whats the problem? My end mill ran big on the 19mm bearing so they were sloppy. A bit of loc tight makes them ultra tight and the slop is gone! I suggest putting loc tite on my knuckles anyway for the best fit but..... these were beyond what I would pass off to a customer.

So, there are 3 versions of these I want gone. I would personally not have a problem running any of them and I doubt you will ever see a problem and doubt you will see slop.

$75 that includes single sided arms, bearings and screws. If you need slugs, adapters or double arms that would be extra.

You can but you need to run an OFNA stub. To run an OFNA stub, you need to either put the OFNA stub on the XR10 inner, hand grind a tang to work with the XR locker or I will be offering OFNA shafts in XR and Wraith lengths soon.

Quick question....long story short my chubs didn't show up in the mail so I can't mockup the front AR60 axle with the Ofna shafts and knuckles. I need to cut and mill the flats on my shafts, but I don't know what length to make them without the chubs I am kinda guessing and thats not the dimension I am looking for lol. I am doing this tomorrow so I am pressed for time :( Do you have a reference dimension? Or maybe a dimension from the dogbone on the shaft for the amount (length) of material to remove. Thanks

They will be the same as stock Wraith shafts. Do you have some Wraith shafts to copy?

I can get it figured out tomorrow but I do know the long side is as long as the OFNA allows.

No I don't have any stock wraith shafts. All my others are narrowed. So on the long side your just putting the tangs where the ball of the dog bone is ?

Wait I do have a short side to copy so I just need the long side.

Using a tape measure:

Wraith long 4 15/16"
Wraith short 2 3/4"

Both measurements taken from center of joint pin to end of tang.

Ok, sweet knuckles. No question i will be running these.
trying to wrap my little head around all the options.
Stupid questions to follow-

OFNA stub vs standard wraith stub!
I have Mayhem Eng. wheels with the interchangeable hubs. If i want to upgrade to the OFNA, do i just get your Delrin hubs in the same offset and use them in my wheels? And of course your modded wraith/OFNA 70* axle shafts :)
Still unclear on the attachment of wheel to stub of the OFNA.

thankyou, aaron
